Commonwealth Contest: March 14-15, 2026 https://www.rac.ca/commonwealth/	The annual Commonwealth Contest (CC) takes place very soon from 1000z Saturday, March 14 to 0959z Sunday March 15. This 24-hour CW-only contest takes place on the five HF contest bands (80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres).  This contest has been around since 1931.  “HQ” stations have a special status in this contest and the RAC HQ station VE3RHQ will once again be operated by Mike Kelly, VE3FFK. Winter Field Day – 25th Jan 2025 (11am -3pm)	Winter Field Day Location: Edithvale Park Date: Jan 25 th , 2025 Time: 11am-3pm Bands: 15m, 20m, 40m Toronto Amateur Radio Club (VE3TNC; https://torarc.ca/) invites you to join us for an afternoon of Winter Field Day (https://winterfieldday.org/). We will have three portable stations ready to operate. Edithvale Community Center will be open with heated washrooms. Be respectful of their facilities. Who: This event is beginner’s welcome. Attire: Dress warmly. Winter boots, jacket, insulated pants, etc. Food & Drink: Warm drinks will be provided. BYO lunch/snacks. Goals: 1) Have fun, 2) operate away from home, 3) operate on 100% alternative power, 4) and deploy multiple antennas.
